Lucy Martensz
Lucy qualified as an Occupational Therapist in 1999 and has worked within the NHS for over 18 years. She has experience of working in a range of clinical settings (physical health, mental health and learning disability services) and has developed skills to work together with people to optimise their levels of independence and improve their quality of life. Lucy is currently working as an independent occupational therapist providing comprehensive assessment and treatment to people of all ages, alongside providing medico-legal reports for therapy, rehabilitation and care.
Lucy decided to start Cambs OT to provide independent Occupational Therapy and postural care. Using a wide variety of techniques people can expect a bespoke service to meet their needs in order to be able to carry out the things they need and want to do. Lucy believes that providing a high quality, effective, evidence based service is essential to getting good outcome. She has special interests in vocational rehabilitation, pain and fatigue management.
Alongside Occupational Therapy Lucy runs Yoga sessions for adults with special needs and is a Thai Yoga Massage Practitioner.

Fiona Taylor
Fiona Taylor graduated from Brunel University with a BSc (hons.) in Occupational Therapy in 2002 and is registered with the Health Professions Council and The British Association of Occupational Therapists.
Following successful completion of her training with the sensory integration network, she was awarded Advanced Sensory Integration Practitioner status and is able to administer, the Sensory Integration and Praxis Test (SIPT). She has been implementing sensory integration in her current NHS employment
Fiona has 14 years’ experience working as an Occupational Therapist in a variety of settings including NHS settings, school and a specialist MS centre. Following rotations in a day hospital, hand therapy and wheelchair services, Fiona opted to specialise in the field of learning disabilities. Here she has gained extensive experience working in community, in patient and residential school settings – working with both adults and children who have a learning disability, autism and dyspraxia. Fiona is currently working a Professional Lead Occupational Therapist for Learning Disability Services in Hertfordshire.
Fiona also holds a City and Guilds Adult Education and has completed a City and Guilds A1 assessors’ award enabling her to assess staff competence in completing NVQ units.
